It is more than common now to have seen celebrities such as Selena Gomez, Kim K, and many others as well as fashionistas wearing pyjamas for red carpets, public apparitions and fashion weeks. That to be said, you don’t need to be either Rihanna or Aimee Song to wear pyjamas all day on another day that Sunday and outside of your house.
I did it, and I loved it, my BF also loved it. I didn’t beat around the bush, I went to Primark, I went to the pyjama section I found this lovely long black dress. I directly thought it would be enjoyable to wear it during summer. What made me chose this one in particular was the laced bottom of the pyjama dress. I thought it made the whole difference.
Nonetheless, it is not because you’re wearing a pyjama dress that you need to look like you just woke up. Unless you’re Beyoncé and you woke like this. But unfortunately, I rarely wake up like this. That is why today, I present three different ways to style the pyjama dress. And honestly, if I didn’t tell you, would you guess this outfit is an actual pyjama? 🙂
To start with, I really simply styled the dress with a pair of pink heels and with a pair of hoops. With my tanned skin and the background of Lisbon houses, I think I look kind of latina, which doesn’t displease me… 🙂 The first look is the classy one.
The second way is also really simple. I just added a summer hat with a belt detail. You can’t see on the pictures but I was wearing simple black sandals. The second look is the chic one.
To finish, I did something completely different for the third look. I gave a different vibe with my New Era cap and my Converse All Stars. The third look is the street one.
PS: I wear an adhesive bra to match this dress.
And you, would you were a pyjama as a daily outfit?
